Pension-Comparison.co.uk is a website owned and run by Grosvenor Insurance & Investment. Grosvenor Insurance & Investment was formed in May 2007, although the founders of the company have over 30 years industry experience between them.

The principal Mr Brian Apperley has been an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) for the last 6 years having previously worked for Colonial Mutual and also as a Business Protection and Pension specialist for 12 years with Barclay's.

Grosvenor Insurance and Investment was formed because Brian believes that everyone should have access to cost effective high-quality, professional financial advice and planning.

After working previously in some of the most lavish offices in the UK he realised that although it may look good on the letterhead it doesn't help the client one little bit. Excessive overheads mean that clients have to be charged higher fees or commissions.

Grosvenors client enquiries are dealt with via telephone, post and email thus keeping the running costs to a minimum and enabling Grosvenor to advise people throughout the whole of the UK. Also instead of spending half the working day driving from one appointment to the next, Grosvenors advisers are able to spend more of their time looking after client's, which is what they want.

All Pension-Comparisons financial advisers spend 95% of their time working at their home offices. We know that this is a far more time and cost efficient way of working. Far too many IFA practises these days believe that only people with a high net worth should have the very best advice, through a high fee-paying relationship.
